New York-based denim brand Tractor has appointed Excel as its licensing agent to expand the children’s and junior’s brand into a wide range of new categories.
Tractor began as a jeans line for girls ages 4 to 14, and recently launched a young contemporary women's line under the Tractr label.
Excel plans to pursue licensing opportunities in tops, non-denim bottoms, outerwear, swimwear, intimates, footwear and accessories.
"We think this is a fashion brand that clearly has legs and can easily lend itself to various natural extensions for children, juniors and adults in a variety of categories,” says Robert Stone, vice president licensing, Excel. “We are honored by this appointment and look forward to making Tractr and Tractor a full fashion lifestyle collection."
