Techno Source, a division of LF Products, and UK-based toy company Character Options have expanded their relationship, allowing Techno Source to distribute Character Options’ products in the U.S. market. Techno Source will distribute the Character Options toys for preschoolers to young adults under its Techno Source and Toy Island brands.

The partnership deepens the companies’ existing relationship, under which Character Options has distributed many of Techno Source’s products in the U.K., including its award-winning electronic Rubik’s games.

The first product to launch under this partnership will be a Scooby-Doo toy line, part of a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Character Options holds the master toy license for Scooby-Doo in the U.K. and U.S.  The line will include figures, play sets, vehicles, plush and goo, will be available at mass and specialty retailers this spring.

“Character Options has been a significant partner for Techno Source over the last 10 years as we’ve expanded globally,” says Eric Levin, division head, Techno Source.  “We’re excited to further develop our relationship with the company and bring their unique, original and top-licensed toys to America.”

“We are delighted to partner with Techno Source on this project,” says Jon Diver, Character Group’s joint managing director.  “With Techno Source’s marketing strength and powerful distribution network, we look forward to introducing our best-sellers to the U.S.”
