Smith joins Ruckus from Scholastic, where she was director of licensed publishing. Prior to that, she was director of licensing and brand management at Simon & Schuster. Smith has brokered deals with top name-brand companies including Nickelodeon, Universal, Warner Bros, Lucasfilm, Paramount, Sony, BBC, Lego, Hasbro, Mattel, Pokemon, Cartoon Network and Spinmaster.
