TCG announced plans to broaden its international distribution of its Roxx brand. Prima Toys will launch Roxx in South Africa.

Prima Toys will launch the collectibles simultaneously in the U.S. and around the world this summer.

“From trading cards to action figures, collecting is a proven play pattern and can often bring a brand to evergreen status,” says Michael Albert, partner, TCG. “With unique designs, limited editions, cool accessories and an online component, Roxx takes collecting to a whole new level. Today’s kids are going to flip when they see Roxx.”

“We are thrilled to be named exclusive distributor of Roxx in South Africa and add this fantastic brand to our product roster,” says Wanda Ambrosini, managing director, Prima Toys. “The minute I saw Roxx in Dallas in October 2011, I saw magic.  The collectability and unique game play of Roxx, offering multiple skill levels for ongoing interest, combined with phenomenal price points, will have kids pounding their fists to get their hands on the product.”

Roxx will be supported in South Africa by TV commercials, direct sampling, online advertising, social media, print campaigns, product demonstrations and a potential tournament across the country.
