Rocket Licensing has signed a deal with Autumn Publishing, a division of Bonnier Publishing, for a line of Olly the Little White Van books to be published in the U.K.

The deal includes 12 books in four formats: chunky board books, sound books, story books and activity books. The books will be published in September and available at a wide range of outlets including independent and specialist stores, department stores, major supermarkets and online retailers.

"Olly the Little White Van" currently airs on CiTV in the U.K. Partners include master toy partner Hornby and DVD partner Abbey Home Media.

“We were attracted to Autumn Publishing by their strong track record in bringing quality books across a number of formats to a large market and their support for the sort of developmental aims that underpin the Olly series," says Henry Becket, chief enthusiast at Ideas At Work, which owns Olly the Little White Van. "And of course, Autumn Publishing’s books are loads of fun—just like Olly!”

"Olly’s combination of witty, exciting stories, high quality design and a strong developmental focus fits perfectly with our own approach to children’s publishing," says Lyn Coutts, publishing director, Autumn Publishing. "We are thrilled to be asked to take this delightful character and series into book form. We are sure the books, like the show, will be a big hit."
