The first licensed National Football League sticker album and sticker collection from Panini America, featuring top players and rookies from all 32 teams, is hitting mass retailers in the U.S.
The range, which features 560 stickers, is rolling out to retailers such as Walmart, Target and Toys"R"Us, as well as at NFL.com. In support of the launch, Panini America is distributing more than 20,000 NFL sticker albums to Pop Warner programs nationwide. In addition, the company has partnered with The Boston Globe to introduce the collection through a sticker album insert in two upcoming editions of the newspaper.
"Collecting and trading stickers is the basis of the global Panini brand," says Mark Warsop, Panini America's chief executive officer. "We are very excited to launch our first officially licensed NFL sticker collection and hope that sticker collecting will become a favorite pastime of sports fans and families across the U.S., as well."
