Nordic Licensing Company has added fashion veteran Thomas Jensen to its team as a category manager for accessories and footwear. With more than 15 years of fashion industry experience, Jensen will work with licensees on brands including Skylanders, the European football clubs and classics from Warner Bros.

“Thomas has a strong knowledge of the Nordic licensing market, as well as a strong network of local, European and global licensing partners,” says Kirsten Gyde, owner, NLC. “He brings great strength to our sales team and will help us with apparel licensing, along with accessories and footwear.”

Prior to joining NLC, Jensen worked with Disney Consumer Products, H&M and IC Companies. A native of Denmark, Jensen says the strong figures and colors featured in the Skylanders brand are a good fit for the cleaner, simpler look favored in fashion throughout the Nordic region.

“What I find fascinating about the fashion area is that it changes all the time, so you always need to be thinking forward,” says Jensen. “With NLC, l see great opportunities to grow with evergreen brands from Warner Bros. and newer brands like Skylanders. I look forward to lifting up our brands with the best partners in the Nordic market.”
