The newly formed company Marilyn Monroe Spas plans to create branded spas, salons, nail boutiques and other concepts around the globe.
“The synergy between Marilyn Monroe and the spa industry is both significant and organic,” says Nick Woodhouse, chief merchandising and marketing officer, Authentic Brands Group. “Coupling the glamorous appeal of Marilyn Monroe with the luxurious indulgence of spa and beauty makes for a very promising partnership.”
The company expects to begin rolling out concepts this fall in the spa, salon, nail and health and wellness categories.
“What we will be launching this fall is one of the most exciting concepts the $375 billion spa industry has ever known,” says Niki Bryan, co-chairman and chief executive officer, Marilyn Monroe Spas. “Matching the allure and glamour of Marilyn Monroe with the beauty and spa industry is a natural fit.”
The Marilyn Monroe Café, which will be located near the lakefront in Oaksville, Ontario, is designed to be a place Marily would be comfortable in. Furnished by well-known designers, Monroe’s timeless beauty is the inspiration behind the contemporary café.
