KJG, the licensing agent for Pip and Co., has announced a sub-agency deal with Maat Entertainment, which will represent the property in Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

Pip, created by Over the Moon, appears on greeting cards featuring a little black cat. The range is available in more than 500 outlets across the U.K. high street, as well as overseas in France, Germany, Finland, Italy, Switzerland, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia and Russia, where Otkrytka has signed a deal to both produce and sell Pip cards. Pip designs are also available online at Moonpig.com in the U.S. and U.K. and Slonimuha in Russia.

"We are very happy to be representing Pip because we see the property as having massive licensing potential," says Matjaz Frelih, Maat Entertainment's chief executive officer. "The brand is simple, colorful and instantly recognizable and we are convinced that, with our efforts, Pip will soon become well known across the region."

In licensing, KJG has brought on board The Original Metal Sign Company for enameled metal wall signs and Bluebird Brands for a range of mugs, coasters, purses, wallets and umbrellas launching in the market soon. Shreds has also been signed for a range of products aimed at children ages 2 to 4, including aprons, mini tote bags, gift pack melamine sets and lunch bags. Pip-branded notebooks and party invites are available direct from Over the Moon.
