LazyTown Adds Product Partners in Greece

A number of licensees have been appointed to produce LazyTown-inspired merchandise in Greece.

Latest partners (via agent Partner Plus) include Star Balls for PVC balls, Erevnites for book publishing, Odeon for home video and GIM for stationery and gifts. Products are expected to hit in the coming months. "LazyTown" debuted in the country this September on Star TV with ratings reported above 50 percent for 4 to 14 year olds. Partner Plus has also recently expanded its representation of LazyTown to Bulgaria and Romania.

  • Walter P. Rawl & Son is distributing LazyTown-branded fresh fruit and vegetable bags to more than 500 schools in eight U.S. states.

  • LazyTown's Sportacus joined the inaugural NFL Fit For You 5K Walk/Run with the Indianapolis Colts. The event encourages kids to participate in football exercise drills, live TV interaction stretches and 5K marathon activities.

  • LazyTown was named the face of the Spanish Cancer Association. The property is promoting two campaigns, Eating Right is Fun and Protect Yourself from the Sun.
