Lagardère Active and Kohl's will expand the Elle-branded contemporary lifestyle collection into fashion jewelry and beauty for spring 2012.
The extensions to the exclusive brand at Kohl's will feature an Elle Bijoux jewelry range, which will include necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings, and a line of cosmetics, including make-up and color, skin care, bath and beauty and nail products.
"Elle has consistently exceeded our expectations in the contemporary category and with its demonstrated success, we are confident the brand will continue to be instrumental in driving our exclusive brand strategy," says Don Brennan, Kohl's chief merchandising officer. "Expanding Elle into additional categories allows us to increase the value proposition to our customer and delivers on our commitment to offer world-class brands in each category."
Elle first arrived at Kohl's in 2007 through a fashion collection and was quickly expanded into shoes and Elle Décor-branded home goods. Elle magazine (Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S.) reports a global readership of 21 million and 6.4 million copies sold every month worldwide. Its brand extensions include Elle Décor, Elle A Table and Elle.com.
