The partnership coincides with the 70th anniversary of DiMaggio’s unbroken 56-game hitting streak. DiMaggio, who died in 1999, was a three-time most valuable player and 13-time all-star who helped lead the New York Yankees to win 10 pennants and nine world championships. DiMaggio’s celebrity status was heightened by his marriage to Marilyn Monroe.
