Character World has signed a deal with Hasbro Brand Licensing to produce bedroom accessories for the toy company’s entire range of franchises.
Character World will kick off the deal by launching two new ranges featuring My Little Pony (based on the new TV show) and Transformers Prime, with products including duvets, curtains, towels and cushions. The lines will be available at retail across the U.K. in July.
Hasbro has a portfolio of more than 1,500 brands, including Littlest Pet Shop, Nerf and Mr. Potato Head.
“The Hasbro portfolio fits in perfectly with our existing licenses and is a major win for us,” says Danny Schweiger, joint managing director, Character World. “Hasbro is behind some of the best-loved brands in the world with Hasbro’s toys found in children’s bedrooms everywhere. I’m excited at aligning our category strength with Hasbro’s.”
