V&S Entertainment, producer of "Everything’s Rosie," has signed Italian agency Starbright to represent the property in the territory. In addition, the series will air on a second TV channel in the Italian market.

Italian products will roll out beginning later this year through spring 2013. The U.K. and Spanish programs for the property have signed more than 40 licensees including Vivid Imaginations, Egmont, NBC Universal, GB eye, Worlds Apart, Zap and Zeon in the U.K.; and Giochi Preziosi Spain, Random House Mondadori, Panini and Divisa Red in Spain.

Everything’s Rosie has been airing in Italy under the title “Insieme a Rosie” on Rai Yoyo since May 2011. Italian broadcaster DeAKids, part of the De Agostini Group, began airing the series on the DeAKids digital children’s channel in January.

"Children in Italy have taken Rosie into their hearts and a loyal fan base on Rai Yoyo and DeAKids is growing rapidly," says Vickie Corner, managing director, V&S Entertainment. "We are now delighted to partner with the team at Starbright whose expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Italian licensing sector will enable us to successfully launch Everything's Rosie across a wide range of product categories. Children can look forward to Rosie merchandise being available in stores across Italy this autumn."
