The deadline to make nominations for the Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association’s 2013 Industry Hall of Fame Award is fast approaching, with online submissions closing Monday.
The annual award honors men and women who have made a lasting contribution to the licensing industry.
Nominees must have been actively involved in the licensing business for at least 15 years and a member of LIMA for at least three.
A committee of industry executives will choose a slate of finalists based on the nominees’ industry contributions, legacy and integrity. The finalists will be reviewed by the LIMA board, which will select a winner to be honored this June at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Nev.
Last year, two winners were inducted into the LIMA Hall of Fame: Howard Roffman, president of Lucas Licensing and the late Stan Clutton, former senior vice president of inventor relations, new business and inbound licensing at Fisher-Price.
