The Carlin West Agency has signed on to represent the Mr. Nussbaum education brand.
The Mr. Nussbaum brand centers on the K-8 educational site, www.mrnussbaum.com, which features more than 100 free educational games, combining fundamental learning principles with kids’ entertainment.
The site was created in 2002 by Greg Nussbaum, an elementary school teacher in Virginia who wanted to supplement his students’ classroom learning. The site now receives 800,000 unique visitors each month.
“Mr. Nussbaum is a modern day Mr. Rogers,” says Carlin West, chief fun officer, CWA. “He has selflessly dedicated his life to teaching and through mrnussbaum.com has enriched the lives of so many students–both in his real classroom and virtually. We share in Mr. Nussbaum’s mission, and plan to bring his unique educational content to life for kids in a dynamic multi-platform way.”
CWA is actively seeking strategic licensing partners in hard goods, multi-media and publishing as it grows awareness of the brand.
CWA has also announced its first global partnership to bring several educational games from the Mr. Nussbaum website to the Kurio7 kid’s tablet. “Speed Math,” “Conquer the States” and “Around the World” are now included as free pre-loaded apps on the new Android device.
