Miami artist Stephen Gamson has partnered with The Brand Liaison to create his own international licensing program. The program debuted at Licensing Expo this week in Las Vegas, Nev., where Gamson signed posters and introduced his work to potential licensees.
“As soon as I saw Gamson’s artwork, I knew his style would be perfect for licensing,” says Steven Heller, founder, The Brand Liaison. “His style is so unique and his use of bold colors and images has helped him establish himself as one of the premier pop-artists of our generation. We are proud to represent someone of his caliber and we are confident that the licensing deals that we create will be very successful.”
The Brand Liaison is already working on apparel and bag licenses and will be seeking to add multiple licensees in home goods, housewares and other key product categories.
Gamson’s artwork has been featured in Art World News, Travel and Leisure, MSNBC, Yahoo! News, Reuters and The Hollywood Reporter the Miami Herald described it as “increasingly visible and in high demand.”
