International brands kimmidoll and kimmidoll junior are racking up web hits around the globe, announced brand creators The Aird Group. Since its launch in 2009, the kimmidoll sites have achieved 150 million hits.
The brand is picking up steam, with awareness in more than 55 countries including major markets such as the U.K., Australia, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, the U.A.E. and more.
"The reaction to our websites has been phenomenal," says Damien Kenny, director, The Aird Group. "We receive a lot of positive feedback from people all over the world and answer hundreds of inquires every month that come to us through each site from consumers, as well as retailers. We have received more than 5,000 inquires since May 2010. When people see the breadth of the dolls and merchandise that's available, they become even bigger kimmidoll fans."
A North American licensing program is getting underway with Redasign Studio, licensing agent for the brand in the region, helming the campaign. Product began shipping to specialty retailers in July and will continue to expand into other distribution channels through the year and into 2013.
