Neo Network recently signed an exclusive agreement with Teamworks to license its newest property "The Qpiz." Neo Network is the digital division of Magnolia, a Zodiak Entertainment company.
"The Qpiz," for girls ages 10 and up, will debut next autumn on Rai Gulp. The animated girl-focused series has been developed by Neo Network in co-production with Rai and DQ Entertainment. The property debuted as a Web site in February and is also supported on Facebook.
Teamworks is currently in talks with merchandise partners in publishing, fashion and accessories, back-to-school and gifts. Last month, De Agostini rolled out "Tests of Qpiz," the first title of a series of books.
"With this acquisition, TeamWorks confirms its focus on new global entertainment products with potentials on the international scene as well," says Maria Romanelli, vice president of TeamWorks. "We are confident that, starting from the Web and then getting on TV, the Italian girls will love 'The Qpiz' and their world."
