Studio 100 International is breathing new life into several classic series through its remastering project by making them available in Full-HD and 16:9 widescreen format for the first time. Some of the iconic IPs include “Sindbad,” “Pinocchio,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Anne of Green Gables,” “Nils Holgersson,” “Marco,” “Vic the Viking,” “Maya the Bee” and “Heidi.”
This initiative is part of Studio 100 International’s broader licensing campaign, “Heroes of Childhood.” The initiative unites the properties under one brand, evoking nostalgia for adults and inviting new younger generations into the audience.
The remastering process uses cutting-edge AI technology to transform the original content from the 1970s into vibrant, high-quality Full-HD. AI also renders oversized frames to generate additional visual information necessary to adapt to the 16:9 format.
Once upscaled, the material undergoes manual refinement, with each scene meticulously reviewed and adjusted to ensure the integrity of the original content. Audio tracks are also carefully reconstructed to integrate various language versions. To finalize the process, localized versions of the titles and credits are produced, ensuring the remastered series are ready for global distribution.
