DQ Entertainment, the AIM-listed, animation, gaming and entertainment company has signed broadcast agreements with Walt Disney Television International (WDTVI/India) for three animated series—"Twisted Whiskers," co-produced by DQE, American Greetings and Taffy Entertainment; "Ratman," co-produced by DQE and Stranemani; and "Sandra," co-produced by DQE and Imira Entertainment. The shows will be aired on Disney's multiplex of channels in the coming months. 

"This is a landmark deal for us and heralds a new beginning for the licensing of our properties in this region," says Tapaas Chakravarti, chairman and chief executive officer of DQE Group.

The new shows will be aired for Disney audiences in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
