The group has tapped Hachette Livre to serve as master publishing partner for its animated series “Oggy and the Cockroaches,” “Zig & Sharko” and “Paprika.” Under the terms of the agreement, Hachette will produce chapter, story, activity and novelty books under its Bibliothèque Rose brand. Hachette will also develop stationery lines for all three brands. The "Oggy and the Cockroaches" and "Zig & Sharko" books will debut in 2018, while the "Paprika" titles will debut in 2019.

Meanwhile, Panini has signed on to create “Oggy and the Cockroaches” sticker books and magazines. The sticker collections and albums are available now at mass market retailers and newsstands across France as well on online at Store.Panini.fr and Magazines.Panini.fr.

“We are thrilled to welcome Hachette Livre and Panini on board the licensing programs for our key brands, which continue to rank in the top-rated shows among kids aged 4-10 years in France,” says Marie-Laure Marchand, senior vice president, global licensing, Xilam Animation. “These top-class deals will strengthen the merchandise offering in our home territory, and we’re confident both partners have the expertise to effectively translate the DNA of our brands, giving fans more exciting ways to engage with our shows beyond the small screen.”
