"The cooperation between Super RTL, Nickelodeon and ViacomCBS Consumer Products has already made 'PAW Patrol' the most successful preschool property in our market,” says Hendrik Rinsche, merchandising and licensing head, Super RTL. “This expansion is once again creating new opportunities for the entire market. With the support of our industry and retail partners, the full potential of the three franchises will be unleashed in our markets.”
Built on a long-term partnership that spans licensing and content, this newly expanded agreement sees Super RTL add the above properties to the portfolio of properties it licenses on behalf of ViacomCBS Consumer Products.
"We are very excited to strengthen our partnership with SUPER RTL and our licensing business in the region,”says Felix Ruoff, vice president, consumer products, Northern and Eastern Europe, ViacomCBS Consumer Products. “Combining Super RTL’s expertise and scale with our iconic brands, this broader partnership will enable us to explore new business areas to truly maximize the value of our brands.”
As part of the new agreement, “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Blaze and the Monster Machines” and “The Loud House” will also be added to Super RTL's future TV lineup in the market. Nickelodeon will remain the home station for SpongeBob and Patrick's adventures in Bikini Bottom and exclusive free-TV premieres of all three formats will continue to be broadcast on Nickelodeon in the region.
