'Twirlywoos' to Take the Show on the Road

DHX Brands and MEI Theatrical have announced the first-ever live show for the preschool series “Twirlywoos,” which is set to visit 30 cities across the U.K. beginning in February.

'Twirlywoos' to Take the Show on the Road

“Twirlywoos Live!” will follow Toodloo, Great BigHoo, Chicken, Chick and Peekaboo alongside other characters from the series, as they set out on an adventure on their big red boat. The show will employ puppetry, comedy and more.

“The ‘Twirlywoos’ have captured the hearts of preschoolers across the U.K., and with the popularity of the brand’s TV show and toys, it was a natural next step to collaborate with a seasoned producer like MEI Theatrical to create a new stage show,” says Tom Roe, commercial director, DHX Brands. “‘Twirlywoos Live!’ is a wonderful extension of the ‘Twirlywoos’ brand, providing children and families with yet another avenue to connect with these beloved characters and forge lasting memories.”

The “Twirlywoos Live!” tour will kick off Feb. 12 at Churchill Theatre in Bromley.
