Media I.M. has signed a distribution deal for its pre-school series “Sunny Bunnies” in Canada and has entered into an agreement for toys in Latin America.

Media I.M. has given DHX Television the rights to the first two seasons of the series, which will launch in French and English on Family Jr. and Telemagino, respectively.

The content deal underscores Media I.M.’s master toy partnership with Funrise Toys for North America, Australia and New Zealand. “Sunny Bunnies” toys  will debut in Canada in the fall.

In South America, the company has teamed with GloboSat’s children’s channel Gloobinho for a Pay-TV deal.

The team has also signed an exclusive representation deal with Vertical Licensing in Brazil which will represent “Sunny Bunnies” across all key license and merchandising product categories, intending to launch toys, book and other products through 2019.

“We are very proud to have this funny and colorful brand on board,” says Alexandre Volpi, chief executive officer, Vertical Licensing. “With ‘Sunny Bunnies’ comprehensive presence across TV and digital platforms, we’re already at a great advantage. The content is amazing and I am sure the characters will be loved by Brazilian children. We are looking forward to working closely with Media I.M. to make Sunny Bunnies one of the biggest preschool brands in our market.”
