CBS Consumer Products and the Museum of Pop Culture have teamed up to launch “Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds” at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.

'Star Trek' Comes to Life with New Exhibit

The new immersive exhibition will feature more than 100 rare set pieces, artifacts, props and more from the television series.

Exhibit highlights include:

  • Artifacts such as the original series tricorder, communicator, and phaser, a Borg cube, Klingon disruptor pistol, tribbles and more;

    • Transporter simulator;

      • A video booth that allows visitor to reenact a scene from

        Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

        ;

        • Original story boards, concept drawings, art and scripts; Spaceship models;

          • A retrospective on “Star Trek’s” impact on society, technology, fashion and more.

            The exhibit currently sits in Seattle and will appear in Indianapolis from Feb. 2 – April 7. Early tickets will become available at www.childrensmuseum.org/star-trek in December.
