Spread Group Adds Warner Bros. Hits to Licensing Pact.png

Spread Group has expanded its Warner Bros. licensing rights agreement to include the licensing rights for 14 brands including Harry Potter, Batman and ‘Friends.’

The rights are now active in target markets including the U.K., the U.S., Canada and Australia. It expands upon the Spread Group and Warner Bros. partnership across Europe, which started in 2012. Products will now be sold online at Spread Group’s marketplace and popular e-retailers such as Amazon and eBay.

"We are excited about the opportunity to use our know-how to launch into new markets and to strategically develop our partnership with Warner Bros,” says Ann-Katrin Hager, head, licensing, Europe, Spread Group. “In doing so, we will cover design, marketing and production, to the web presence on our Spreadshirt marketplace, as well as on Amazon and eBay – according to our 360-degree approach.”

In the eight years of the partnership, the Spread Group has developed more than 1,700 designs with Warner Bros. IP in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
