Sesame Workshop and Ileke Media are kicking off "Sesame Square" in Nigeria with the addition of a new furry character named Zobi. The Nigerian version of "Sesame Street" is set to air later this year.

The half-hour block will include Sesame Street's popular formats "Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures," "Elmo's World," "Global Grover" and "Play with Me Sesame."

"Sesame Square" is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development to create the series, support for outreach materials and conduct research.
