Genius Brands International has inked a deal with Nickelodeon Latin America to bring the first season of “Rainbow Rangers” to the region.

After the launch of “Rainbow Rangers” in the U.S., the children’s CGI series will be making its premiere in Latin America. Fifty-two episodes from season one will premiere on air and via mobile across the region this summer.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Nickelodeon beyond the U.S. to bring this much-loved series to children throughout Latin America for the first time,” says Andy Heyward, chairman and chief executive officer, Genius Brands. “Girls and boys across the U.S. are being entertained and inspired by our characters and empowering storylines, and Latin America is a first stop to deliver the fun and excitement of ‘Rainbow Rangers’ to children worldwide.”

The expansion of “Rainbow Rangers” to Latin America comes on the heels of the announcement that the show has been picked up for a second season with Nick Jr. in the U.S.
