Rainbow announced a major deal with Russian broadcaster CTC for its properties “Winx Club” and “PopPixie.” The agreement is a direct result of the Winx’s position as the number one girls’ property in Russia.


The deal includes four Winx Club TV movies as well as the fifth series, both co-productions with Nickelodeon. CTC already holds the rights to the first four Winx Club series. The TV movies will air this fall, and the fifth series will air next fall. The Winx Club 3D Magical Adventure will air in January next year.

CTC also purchased “PopPixie,” Rainbow’s latest animated comedy series.
