Entertainment One has partnered with Merlin Entertainments for Peppa Pig World of Play, a new standalone indoor attraction based on the preschool property,“Peppa Pig.”

Peppa Pig World of Play will bring the preschool series to life through a series of ten interactive and immersive play areas designed for all ages. Under the terms of the multi-territory licensing agreement, Merlin will build and operate the themed attractions.

The first locations announced are LC Mall in Shanghai, which is set to open later this year; and the Grapevine Mills in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, which is set to open in early 2019.

“Children and families across the world love ‘Peppa Pig,' and we are thrilled that our partnership with Merlin will create the ultimate, fully-immersive ‘Peppa Pig’ indoor play experience for her many fans,” says Andrew Carley, executive vice president, global licensing, family and brands, eOne. “The partnership with Merlin underlines our long-term strategy of building enduring global success for ‘Peppa Pig’ and these attractions will play an integral role in making it a favorite preschool property for many years to come.”
