Bringing an educational element to playtime, Hasbro U.K. and Ireland are due to launch “Numberblocks” and “Alphablocks”-branded Play-Doh for World Play-Doh Day on Sept. 16. This line of products will provide kids with both physical and digital touchpoints through characterized Play-Doh pots, dedicated CGI animations and resource packs for teachers. To coincide with the launch, “Numberblocks” and “Alphablocks” will also be running a nationwide competition in the U.K. and Northern Ireland across nurseries, playgroups and schools where Play-Doh prizes can be won.
The second deal, a first time for licensee Doodle Education, will bring a new kind of learning and engagement to preschoolers through a series of posters as well as educational environmental aides.
