The series is based on the picture book Une chanson d'ours by writer and illustrator Benjamin Chaud and follows the adventures of a bear cub named Pompon and his friends.

“We have been big fans of Benjamin Chaud since we animated one of his books, The Worst Birthday of My Life, in an episode of The Treehouse Stories, our Emmy Award-winner series,” says Emmanuèle Pétry, producer and partner, Dandelooo. “We love the Pompon titles, too, which have been translated in over 10 languages around the world, so we are honored that Supamonks have chosen Dandelooo as the show’s global distributor.”

The series will reflect Chaud’s art style and tone. The show is produced by Supamonks Studios and in partnership with France Televisions and is set to launch in 2020 in both English and French.
