Marvel Strengthens 'Luke Cage' Brand with Carhartt

Marvel has teamed up with Carhartt, an American workwear brand, to create 1,000 limited edition sweatshirts inspired by its series “Luke Cage.”

The Luke Cage x Carhartt hooded sweatshirt resembles the one worn by the bullet-proof superhero himself and features a custom yellow-lined hood with a unique “Luke Cage” logo on the sleeve. The sweater is heavily influenced by Carhartt’s K122 – Midweight Hooded Zip-Front Sweatshirt.

"Luke Cage is on the clock 24/7. In his line of work, he can never take a day off," says Tony Ambroza, chief brand officer, Carhartt. "When an invincible, indestructible superhero like Luke Cage decides to wear Carhartt gear instead of a suit and cape, it really personifies the rugged gear we make for those who do the toughest jobs."

The Luke Cage x Carhartt limited-edition hooded sweatshirts is available on Carhartt.com and at Carhartt retail locations.

The second season of Marvell’s “Luke Cage” will premiere on Netflix this month.
