London Toy Fair: New ‘Hey Duggee’ Deals Announced

Ahead of 2020’s London Toy Fair, BBC Studios has announced a raft of new products for “Hey Duggee.”

BBC Studios has announced new “Hey Duggee” products and partners ahead of London Toy Fair 2020.

BBC Studios and Golden Bear will be launching an extended product line this year, with toys including a new “Duggee” and friends figurine pack, launching in spring/summer 2020, new plush and the “Hey Duggee” adventure bus, hitting store shelves from fall/winter 2020.

“It’s brilliant to see the ‘Hey Duggee’ portfolio continuing to grow and expand, earning the accolade of fastest-growing brand for preschool plush earlier this year,” says Julie Kekwick, senior licensing manager, BBC Studios. “‘Hey Duggee’ has had a fantastic year at retail, and we’re looking forward to building on this with our extended line of 8th Wonder products and our new partnership with Ravensburger.”

Ravensburger, a leading manufacturer of children’s puzzles and games, will be launching a new collection of “Hey Duggee” jigsaw puzzles and games for the U.K. The games will be in stores in fall/winter 2020.

"We are delighted to be working together with the BBC Studios on Hey Duggee,” says Tim Hall, managing director, Ravensburger. “It is one of the most popular pre-school programs on TV, connecting with both kids and their parents thanks to its clever and very funny touches.  We recognize the strong ongoing potential for this license as it continues to make its mark in the industry. We will be developing a fantastic range of jigsaw puzzles and a memory game for launch autumn/winter 2020."

An extended line of eighth Wonder products will also be joining the existing collection of wooden toys, to include a Skittles set, shape sorter with light and sound, carry along playhouse and vehicle and block set.

Earlier this year BBC Studios announced its partnership with Trends U.K., creating a new range of electronic learning toys which will be available from Spring 2020.
