BBC Studios has renewed its toy partnership deal with Golden Bear for its preschool series “Hey Duggee" through 2020.

Golden Bear recently revamped its Woof Woof Duggee soft toy line for fall 2018 to include press-and-play badges featuring music from the show. Further additions include the Duggee and The Squirrels Figurine Pack, Talking Squirrels plush toy range and more.

“'Hey Duggee' brings smiles, laughter and hugs into a preschooler's day like no other TV show can, so it’s fantastic to be able to continue to bring such a fun and inclusive brand to life off-screen,” says Christine Nicholls, vice chairman and director of product development, Golden Bear. "The demand for our 'Hey Duggee' toys has been unprecedented since the start of the year and especially since the World Cup when the 'Duggee Kick Kick' song became the unofficial anthem of the tournament. Next year looks even brighter for 'Duggee' as we have some exciting new developments coming through for fall 2019.”

Golden Bear is among a roster of licensees including Danilo for greetings cards and gifts; DNC for lunchware and dinnerware; Penguin for publishing and Immediate Media for magazines and more. Scary Beasties is set to develop an additional range of apps which will roll out this fall.
