Mondo TV Iberoamerica, a Mondo TV subsidiary, has teamed up with Sony Music Entertainment Italy to create a new music compilation based on its television series “Heidi Bienvenida.”

The also guarantees a collaboration with Italian pop star Deborah Lurato.

In addition to music, Sony has agreed to a series of joint marketing initiatives that underscore the product, including a CD launch with promotional events and managerial control over the official “Heidi Bienvenida.” Vevo video channel.

In separate deals, Edizioni Playpress has signed on for original “Heidi Bienvenida” publications in Italy and Walcor has paired for a range of confectionary for Christmas and Easter, with Echo Srl on board for themed events at shopping areas.

“We are delighted to be Mondo TV’s recording partner on Heidi Bienvenida, a genuinely exciting project that is not only making waves as a highly successful TV series but also has enormous potential as a music-oriented property,” says Stefano Patara, vice president, general manager strategic and catalogue, Sony Music Entertainment. “We are therefore working with Mondo TV on a lot of activities aimed at spreading the series’ musical content to various media and audiences, including trade, streaming platforms, regional events, promotions, live shows and much more.”

The “Heidi Bienvenida” CD will be released in Italy during the back-to-school season.
