Warner Bros. Discovery has announced an original Harry Potter television series adaptation, with J.K. Rowling as executive producer. The series will be based on the book series and will be available on newly announced streaming service, Max, in the U.S. and globally.
The Harry Potter books will become a decade-long series with each season dedicated to one of the seven books. It will feature a completely different cast from the film series. The series is produced in association with Brontë Film and TV with Neil Blair and Ruth Kenley-Letts joining as additional executive producers.
