Discovery is planning to unveil details of a new streaming service in early December,
Discovery chairman and chief executive officer David Zaslav revealed the news in a call to investors on Nov. 5, indicating he would discuss content, distribution and other details at a later date, but hinted that the service would vie with rivals that typically place more reliance on movies and scripted miniseries. He also hinted that the programs would bring to bear the company’s full library of content.
More details will be revealed at a later date.
