Discovery Rocks  Shark Week’s 30th Anniversary

Discovery Consumer Products is teaming with British pop artist Philip Colbert of The Rodnik Band on a clothing and accessories line in honor of Shark Week’s 30th anniversary.


The collaborators also announced a pop-up shop, dubbed “Shark Shack,” which opened at London’sOld Spitalfield's Market July 18 and fetes the week-long, shark programming event.

’s Andre Leon Talley as “the godson of Andy Warhol,” will present a whimsical line of women’s and men’s apparel that will include bomber jackets, sweatshirts, dresses, t-shirts, bags and mobile phone cases.

“Over the last 30 years, Shark Week has transformed into a pop culture phenomenon,” says Leigh Anne Brodsky, executive vice president, Discovery Global Enterprises. “We are excited to partner with Philip and The Rodnik Band on this Discovery Shark collection to give fans the opportunity to continue to the Shark Week experience.”

Shark Week is set to air on Discovery Channel from July 22-29.
