, a subsidiary of Candle Media and an award-winning global kids’ entertainment company, and Cinemark Holdings, one of the world’s largest movie theater companies, are partnering to bring “Blippi” to the big screen this summer.
“Blippi,” one of the world’s most popular live-action preschool brands, will appear in select theaters nationwide in the long-form 60-minute special, “Blippi’s Big Dino Adventure
on Aug. 25.
Moonbug Entertainment produced the premium special specifically for cinematic distribution. The first-of-its-kind distribution partnership with Cinemark allows Blippi and Meekah fans to connect and engage with the brand in a larger screen format with their family and friends.
Moonbug believes every child should have access to its entertaining and enriching content, which is why its shows are available on more than 150 video platforms globally in 29 languages, including American Sign Language.

“Blippi’s Big Dino Adventure,” launching exclusively at Cinemark, sees Blippi and his best friend Meekah go on one of their biggest dinosaur adventures. When Blippi and Meekah run into Park Ranger Asher and his energetic dinosaur crew at T-Rex Ranch, Park Ranger Asher asks for help retrieving some missing dinosaur eggs. But Blippi and Meekah must hurry to find and return all the eggs before they hatch. With a map in hand, they are off searching, finding eggs in the most unexpected places, like a ball pit at an indoor playground. With just moments to spare, Blippi and Meekah return the eggs and celebrate the only way they know how, with a Dinosaur Dance.
Theater locations and ticket sales for “Blippi’s Big Dino Adventure” will be announced in July, with tickets available at Cinemark.com and on the Cinemark app.
