Apple has announced it will launch a new collection of new “Fraggle Rock” episodes on its streaming service Apple+.

The new series follows the classic characters of Jim Henson’s 1980s puppet series through a series of new stories. Apple’s new program will include special guests and music from the original series.

Apple’s new show was filmed following COVID-19 “Safer at Home” guidelines, with all footage shot at the homes of the production team and individual artists from all across the U.S. using iPhone 11s. New mini-episodes of the series will premiere globally for free on Apple TV+.

The new “Fraggle Rock” comes as part of a slate of new children’s content appearing on the Apple+ platform. Last month it was announced that Nick Jr.’s Noggin subscription service would be available on Apple TV in 25 international territories.
