Amazon has partnered with local Los Angeles, Calif. retailers for a citywide activation for its original series, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

Titled, “Maisel Day,” the 24-hour activation will see regional shops sell items at prices based on ‘50s retail costs. Prices include a 99-cent pastrami sandwich from Canters Deli, a $4 haircut from Gornik & Drucker and a $40 overnight stay at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Lowered costs are aimed at mirroring the timeframe that the “Mrs. Maisel” series takes place. Set in the 1950s, the show follows Miriam "Midge" Maisel as she pursues her standup comedy dreams in Greenwich Village, New York.
