The partnership, which encompasses Asia and Australia, will see AirAsia launch a series of international activations during UFC’s inaugural event in Mainland China, Nov. 25. AirAsia will also obtain the rights to signage and branding inside UFC’s Octagon during the event and select international UFC events in 2018.
The agreement will also see AirAsia serve as the presenting sponsor of select UFC Fan Experiences throughout the region and promote a national sweepstakes campaign. The airline will also be integrated across multiple UFC-based social and digital platforms, as well as have a presence during live event broadcasts and on UFC.com.
Finally, UFC and AirAsia will jointly sponsor content featured on “Weibo” and “WeChat” platforms in China.
