The University of Connecticut has had a full year with the school’s men’s and women’s basketball teams bringing home unprecedented dual championship titles.

The sporting successes led to a frenzy of licensing that saw UConn and its licensing partner, The Collegiate Licensing Company (which has represented the school since 1986), review 659 pieces of artwork for product from March 31 to April 4.

The rush paid off with title gear racking up major sales for licensees that included Fanatics, Boelter Brands, Box Seat Clothing, Champion Custom Products, Fathead, Gear for Sports, Highland Mint, Nike, Mounted Memories, Rawlings, WWRD (Waterford Crystal) and Wincraft.

Additionally, the school also executed a full-on rebrand with Nike at the outset of the 2013 football season.

CLC is the trademark licensing affiliate of IMG College.
