As the 2019 Super Bowl champion, it’s no surprise the New England Patriots would once again tackle the competition and lead in sales of licensed merchandise. Patriots powerhouse and perennial fan-favorite Tom Brady has again ranked No. 1 on the NFLPA Top 50 Player Sales List, which includes sales of all officially licensed NFL player merchandise through the pre-season (March 1 - Aug. 31, 2019).
The list, which comprises the most up-to-date, comprehensive sales figures currently available, is the only verified ranking of all officially licensed NFL player sales. Sales figures and data are reported by more than 75 NFLPA licensees including NIKE, Fanatics, Funko, New Era and more. Top 10 Players Based on All Licensed Product Sales Include:
1. Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
Brady is the only NFL player to top the list seven times. He was named year-end retail king twice and has never ranked lower than the Top 9.
2. Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
Mahomes II has jumped from No. 6 to No. 2 on the list.
3. Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns
Mayfield led in Funko Pop! Vinyl sales, ranking No. 1.
4. Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Cleveland Browns
Beckham Jr. was among the most popular players in sales of framed memorabilia from Highland Mint and bobbleheads by Forever Collectibles.
5. Khalil Mack, LB, Chicago Bears
Mack was a top seller of t-shirts by 500 Level.
6. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys
Elliott ranked as a top-seller among licensed NFL jersey sales.
7. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers
Rodgers ranked high in the framed memorabilia category.
8. Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants
Barkley was a top seller in the wall decal and t-shirt categories.
9. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
Smith-Schuster moved up 16 spots to No. 9 and was a top seller in wall decal and holiday ornament sales.
10. Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys
Prescott was a leader in sales of jerseys and headwear from New Era.
