Desert racing organization Score International will make its Licensing Expo debut this week as part of the new Motorsports Café feature zone in the Brands & Agents area of the show.

Known for its flagship event, the Tecate Score Baja 1000, the company is the producer of the five-race Score World Desert Championship, which presents races in Mexico and the Southwestern United States for purpose-built cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs. The company also produces a weekly one-hour online show, “Score Dirt Live HD,” that presents live programming from Score events.

The show will be streamed in the Score exhibit in the Motorsports Café on the massive ScoreVision LED screen.

In addition to the screen, Score will also host a pair of superstar desert racers, Rob MacCachren and B.J. Baldwin, as it presents licensees with opportunities across a wide range of categories including race production and event licensing, broadcast and video content licensing, apparel, toys, games and automotive aftermarket products.

“We are honored and feel very privileged to be able to participate in this year’s Licensing Expo in Las Vegas,” says Roger Norman, chief executive officer and president, Score, who himself is a former Tecate Score Baja 1000 overall winner. “The Expo is a superb opportunity for Score to continue its quest to become an even more active player in the licensing world, brand development and brand merchandising. We are anxious for the green flag to drop at the Expo so we can get rolling into a new arena for Score International.”

Additionally, Score will host a VIP party at the Baja-themed Hussong’s Cantina in Mandalay Place Wednesday night. Special Score Pit Passes to the invitation-only party will be available at the Score exhibit in the Motorsports Café Tuesday and Wednesday. The special drink of the night will be the Score Baja 1000, a unique margarita to celebrate the country where the event is held each year.

Special guest Ivan “Ironman” Stewart, a multi-time Score Baja race champion, will also make an appearance at the event.
