12 hockey franchises will be added to the toy company's NHL product line.

Toy manufacturer Playmobil will expand its NHL product line as part of the company’s continued partnership with the National Hockey League.

The expanded line will now feature new play sets featuring 12 NHL teams including the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota Wild, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Vancouver Canucks, Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets.

Each play set will include both player and goalie figures. Additional sets will feature NHL rivalry packs, a Stanley Cup Presentation and a score clock with referees.

The initial NHL toy line launched last year and was the first time Playmobil struck a deal for a licensed line of products in the U.S. and Canada.

“Due to popular demand from consumers and retailers alike, we are thrilled to expand our offerings of NHL toys,” says Mark Cohen, vice president of sales and marketing, Playmobil U.S. “Young fans were clamoring to play with their favorite NHL teams and now with the introduction of additional franchises and iconic NHL moments, they can continue to express their fandom and create their own authentic NHL-inspired experiences with Playmobil.”

Playmobil’s NHL expanded line will roll out in stores this spring and an NHL advent calendar will be available this fall.
