The National Football League has partnered with TD Brand Global to create a range of apparel in China.

The Brand Liaison, TD Brand Global’s agent, brokered the deal.

The multi-year agreement will feature men’s and women’s apparel and accessories as well as include both hard line and soft line rights.

“We are thrilled about this licensing opportunity with the NFL in China. The NFL is a sensational attraction in the U.S. and the sport is growing fast in the Asian markets,” says Kevin Chen, managing partner, TD Brand Global. “Thanks to the Brand Liaison, we are now able to play a significant role in expanding NFL licensing in China. With premium resources in manufacturing and distribution, we are confident that the relationship between NFL and TD Brands will lead to a great success.”

The new branded apparel will be available across mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

“We have been doing this a long time and we have an entire division of our company dedicated to sports licensing, but this is by far one of the most exciting deals that we have ever been a part of,” says Steven Heller, president, The Brand Liaison. “We know there is huge opportunity for the NFL in China and we are thankful to everyone at NFL and TD Global Brands for their hard work and dedication to getting this agreement completed.”
