The National Basketball Association and Brazil’s Liga Nacional de Basquete are teaming up in a multi-year partnership to grow the game of basketball in Brazil.

The two leagues, with the support of the Confederação Brasileira de Basketball, will share best practices to increase fan engagement and new business development for the LNB. Over the next several years, the partnership will expand to encompass additional areas including new business ventures for LNB’s men’s national basketball championship, called NBB (Novo Basquete Brasil), basketball operations, overall player development and community outreach initiatives.
